Traditional culture has found a bigger stage online. On video platforms such as Douyin and Bilibili, many traditional artists are starting to livestream. Some of them sing Peking Opera, some show their folk handicrafts, while others perform calligraphy or Chinese classical music. A growing number of young people are starting to become more aware of and interested in traditional culture because of livestreaming.
